With 30 years of experience in Commercial Architecture and Residential Architecture, I am involved in all project phases, from initiation to completion. My diverse portfolio includes master planning, large office and industrial parks, healthcare facilities, marinas, sports and aquatic centers, high-rise buildings, and financial institutions. My extensive architectural experience spans various construction types, including Type I, II, III, and V, utilizing tilt slab, masonry, steel, and wood frame methods.
My deep knowledge of building materials allows for sound judgment in evaluating construction methods and architectural detailing. I specialize in project specifications, roofing systems, building envelope design, and waterproofing, ensuring a comprehensive approach to eliminating water infiltration and reducing errors and omissions in contract documents.
In the Pre-Development phase, I work closely with landowners and developers, providing schematic assessments based on zoning codes, land use requirements, and CC&Rs. During planning and design development, I analyze and apply due diligence materials, traffic studies, ALTA surveys, and geotechnical reports to inform project decisions.
I coordinate with local communities and municipalities to secure project entitlements, including planning, design review, and construction permit approvals. This involves seeking use permits, variances, and rezoning on behalf of owners, and developing site plans that comply with zoning codes, land use requirements, and regulations from fire and public works departments.
This extensive experience and comprehensive skill set ensure the successful delivery of high-quality commercial architecture and interior design projects that meet all regulatory requirements and maximize property value.
